When Faux Is the Right Choice

We are a fresh flower shop, so we will be straightforward: fresh is better for scent, depth and movement, and most weddings should use it.

Faux is the better answer in specific situations, and they come up more often than people expect:

Outdoor summer ceremonies, where fresh blooms wilt within hours
Long events, where the arrangement must look identical at 10 pm and at 10 am
Photography and film sets, where the same look is needed across days
Multiple spaces needing a matched installation
Statement scale — a full flower wall in fresh stems costs several times more

Colour choice matters more with faux than fresh, because the piece will photograph exactly the same all day. White reads formal and photographs cleanly; pink and peach warm a neutral room; blue and purple are distinctive and harder to find.

How Rental Works

Availability is by date, and popular pieces book out across the wedding season, so enquire early with your date in hand.

Delivery, installation and collection are arranged with you rather than left to you — these are large pieces and not a self-collect item. Please contact us for rental period, delivery and any terms that apply to your booking, and we will confirm everything in writing before you commit.

Faux and Fresh Together

The combination is often the strongest answer, and it is what we most frequently recommend.

A faux arch or flower wall holds the structural look all day, and fresh wedding flowers go where people are close to them — the bridal bouquet, boutonnières, and table centrepieces. Guests are near the fresh flowers and see the faux from a distance, which is where the difference stops being noticeable.

For Events Beyond Weddings

Corporate events, product launches, storefront installations, retail displays and seasonal décor all use the same pieces, and the economics are better for anything running more than one day.

A fresh installation is built the morning of the event and finished by the end of it. A faux piece can go up the day before and hold through a three-day trade show.

Choosing Between an Arch and a Wall

An arch frames people. It is what couples stand under, and what appears behind them in every ceremony photograph.

A flower wall is a backdrop. It works where guests will be photographed against it repeatedly — a reception entrance, a photo corner, a brand activation. At $425 it is also the least expensive way to make a plain wall look designed.
